SOSSI Guidebook: The SUNY Online Student Success Inventory measures a number of thoughts and behaviors supported by research to impact success in online learning environment. Specifically, self-efficacy, self-regulated learning, and reading and writing habits. It also measures research-based individual differences that are important for online learning success, such as, technological access and literacy, learning goals, and a student’s learning environment.
