Tips on ending your online course

Thursday, December 15 is the last day of classes here at NCCC. Now is the time to think about how you will end your course. Will you send out a final e-mail or post a final Announcement? It is definitely recommend that you bid your students farewell  in some fashion… perhaps you will make a video Jing or an audio post to add a personal touch to your final correspondence.

This is also a great time to do some reflecting by asking yourself:

What worked well in the course?

What did not work as planned?

What technical difficulties did I or my students have?

What areas of the course would I like to improve?

What content or activities would I like to add?

Other end of the semester housecleaning:

Finalize grades and export a copy of your gradebook

Back-up your course

Print attendance roster to submit to your division.

Season’s Greetings!
